Why we started

Some children still learn without ever touching the internet.

In Cambodia’s remote communities, many schools still lack internet access and digital learning devices, leaving students with limited access to online education, digital resources, and opportunities to learn spoken English.

Khmer Khom brings internet-connected televisions into classrooms, opening a window to the digital world for children in remote communities who may have never had access to the internet before. Through these connections, students can explore new knowledge, access educational resources, and experience learning in ways that were previously beyond their reach.

What we do

Khmer Khom focuses on three important areas: Skills, Health, and Livelihood.

Skills – Giving People the Tools to Succeed

KhmerKhom works to bring learning opportunities to children and communities, especially in remote areas where access to educational resources and the internet is limited. Through initiatives such as installing TVs and providing online learning programs in schools, students can access educational content, learn English, and develop knowledge and skills that can help them in the future.

Health – Helping People Live Better

Good health is essential for a happy and productive life. KhmerKhom supports activities that promote health awareness, preventive care, and healthy living. We believe that healthier people can better support their families, pursue education, work, and contribute to their communities.

Livelihood – Creating Opportunities for a Better Life

A better future also requires the ability to earn a stable income. KhmerKhom supports opportunities in areas such as agriculture, entrepreneurship, skills training, and innovation to help individuals and families improve their incomes and become more financially secure.
